The New England Patriots dodged a monumental bullet on ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
According to the Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Patriots QB Tom Brady suffered an injury to right throwing hand at practice after accidentally being run into by a teammate:
This is my understanding, as well. Sounds manageable (easy for me to say, not my hand). https://t.co/RgjvBsSjM5

Brady’s X-rays revealed no structure damage and the issue is manageable, Rapport said. However the injury did land the Patriots quarterback on the injury report.
It is unclear whether or not Brady will practice tomorrow or be limited. Brady was listed as a limited participant in practice today.
The timing of the injury isn’t the best, obviously, but it won’t keep him from playing in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.
