Aaron Hernandez Is ‘Mr. July’ In 2014 Florida Gators Calendar

Aaron Hernandez was once a bright young tight end and began his football career at the University of Florida and eventually was drafted by the New England Patriots. But that all came crashing down when Hernandez got in legal troubles and is now on trial for murder.

With all that said, I wouldn’t recommend Aaron Hernandez be the best choice to be featured in a Florida Gators team calendar. Now the University of Florida athletic department did say that things like these are made a year in advance and the calendar was made in the Spring of 2013. Hernandez wasn’t arrested until the Summer of 2013.

Needless to say, this is a very awkward situation to have Aaron Hernandez as ‘Mr. July’ in a University of Florida team calendar.
