NFL Fined Steelers’ Cam Heyward For Honoring His Father Who Died Of Brain Cancer

Yesterday, we told you that the NFL was not allowing Steelers’ running back DeAngelo Williams to honor his mother who died of breast cancer. Well, today, Williams’ teammate Cam Heyward revealed on Twitter that he has been fined by the NFL for wearing eye black that honored his father and long time NFL player Craig “Ironhead” Heyward, who died of brain cancer when Cam was 17 years old.

The NFL continues to make a mockery out of itself with fines and rules that prohibit players from doing anything on the field that won’t make a dime to their pocket (which are filled with billions by the way).
