If you’re a Colts fan, look away now.
Yes, this is true, and it could get even more depressing come February 7th when Colts’ draftee Peyton Manning goes for his second Super Bowl vs the Panthers. There have been 7 Super Bowls won by quarterbacks that were drafted by the Colts, and those same Colts have only managed to squeeze out two for themselves.
The Denver Broncos have gone to 7 Super Bowls with quarterbacks originally drafted by the Colts. The Colts have done so twice.

You may be asking how, and a large part of it is Elway refusing to play with Indianapolis and Johnny Unitas being drafted by the Steelers.
If the streak continues, who knows, maybe we’ll see Andrew Luck hoist up the Lombardi trophy in a Denver Broncos uniform few years down the line.
