CHARLOTTE, NC – Carolina Panthers’ linebacker Thomas Davis is not only arguably the best linebacker in the NFL right now, he’s one tough son of a gun.
During the second quarter of the NFC Championship vs Arizona, David suffered a broken arm when trying to make a tackle. David of course left the game and had surgery to repair the bone the next day, with doctors installing a plate and 11 to 12 screws.
It has been a joke floating around the hospital between doctors who are Colts fans about Davis’ arm looking remarkably similar to a football handled by Tom Brady, and of course we all know what happened with that.
This post is not about me, or how tough I am. It’s not to shine any light on me or my injuries. Our team doctors and trainers did an amazing job giving me an opportunity to get back on the field. This post is strictly to show how much love I have for my brothers and #PantherNation. Thank you all for your support and we will #KeepPounding.-TD
