With the Oakland Raiders spending a lot on their defense this past offseason, many believe they could come out of the AFC West as division champs, overtaken the defending Super Bowl champions’ Denver Broncos.
The Raiders took to Twitter today to throw some shade on the Denver Broncos after a NFL.com article was published:
The @Broncos D?
It currently rules the AFC West.“We can disrupt the way they do.” https://t.co/NMmd6iB7CEpic.twitter.com/BbLpjKarS4

The Raiders responded by making sure people knew that they were here and their defense isn’t second to none:

The Raiders took a clear shot at the Broncos, who lost some key parts of their defense this free agency, including defensive end Malik Jackson and linebacker Danny Trevathan.
That tweet was comical to the Denver Broncos, who reminded everyone they still have Von Miller, DeMarcus Ware, Chris Harris Jr. and Aqib Talib:

The AFC West will certainly be an interesting division this year, as a case could be made for the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders.
With the teams lashing out at each other in May, one could only imagine what it’ll be like in September.
