Minor League Baseball Team Holding ‘Keep Tom Brady Suspended Night’

Leave it to a Minor League Baseball team…

It seems that in order to get a few extra butts in the seats, Minor League Baseball organizations will pull out the most ridiculous stops to bring some attention to their team, whether is crazy jersey nights, insane food available for purchase at concession, or this – ‘Keep Tom Brady Suspended Night’.

The night hosted by the Buffalo Bisons comes in response to the Pawtucket Red Sox holding a ‘Free Brady Night’ on June 10 at McCoy Stadium, and will be held during their double header Saturday, June 11, against the Charlotte Knights.

Not only is the pure nature of this promotion hilarious, the Blue Jays affiliate also added in some pretty funny incentives:

– Buy-One, Get-one Free Tickets to anyone that brings a properly inflated football to be donated to area youth football programs.

– Accepting un-destroyed cell phone donations for ‘Cell Phones for Soldiers’ charity.

– A 12.5% discount in the Bisons’ gift shop for anyone that brings a Tom Brady jersey/t-shirt to add to the postgame fireworks display.

– A scoreboard videos featuring some of sports’ greatest cheaters, highlighted by a video tribute to Patriots coach Bill Belichick.

And the catch, if your name is either ‘Tom’ or ‘Brady’, you will not be allowed to watch the first four innings of game one of the doubleheader (in reference to his suspension). The team added, “Please, no appeals.”

If you didn’t have a favorite Minor League Baseball team already, you just found one.
