Madden 17 is saying good bye to Jim Nantz and Phil Sims and saying hello Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis.
But the biggest issue about the Madden 17 commentary hasn’t been the announcers but more so the generic commentary, well now the commentary will be updated weekly depending on real life story lines during the NFL season.
Brandon Gaudin, voice of Georgia Tech basketball and NCAA tournament games will be the play-by-play and Charles Davis, analyst for FOX Sports and NFL Network, will provide color commentary.
It’s the first change of announcers for the Madden NFL franchise since 2012 when the CBS team of Nantz and Simms took over replacing Gus Johnson and Cris Collinsworth.
Gaudin and Davis sat down with EA Sports to talk about the new approach.
Madden NFL 17 is set to release on August 23rd.
