It’s that time of year again when athletes of all color and size grace ESPN The Magazine’s annual Body Issue.
This year, the list includes Dwayne Wade, Von Miller, Christen Press, Jake Arrieta and what could possibly be the biggest athlete to join the club, Vince Wilfork.
Yes, the former Patriots and current Houston Texans nose tackle is set to appear in the magazine.
All 325-pounds of him.
The reasoning for Wilfork’s decision to do this is inspiring others:
“I know I don’t have the six-packs and the eight-packs and all that.. But I’m perfectly fine with what I am. If people can look at me, look at a guy that’s 325-plus doing an issue like this, I’m pretty sure that they might have a little confidence after seeing that it’s OK to be who you are.”
What a legend Vince Wilfork is.
