Tim Tebow got his big break today.
After news broke that former Heisman winning quarterback, and dud in the NFL quarterback Tim Tebow would try his hand at baseball a few months ago, a team has signed him.
The 8 & Under coach-pitch New York Mets have reportedly come to terms for a 1-year deal with Tim Tebow.
Tebow held an open workout for scouts two weeks ago where he performed for scouts, completing 60% of his throws from the outfield, with only 2 interceptions.
There are no details yet on contract figures, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter has mentioned the word is that Tebow will receive 2 extra orange slices after games, with an extra Capri-Sun.
“It’s been a dream of mine to get to the World Series at one point in my life. Williamsport wasn’t what I was intending, but it will have to do for now,” Tebow told Schefter.
