The Cincinnati Bengals have dominated their Thursday Night Football game against the Miami Dolphins and yet the Phins are somehow within two scores.
With a late 3rd quarter sack that was sure to give the Dolphins struggling offense tremendous field position, all was for not when the Bengal’s punt was turned to an automatic first down via a bonehead ‘roughing the kicker penalty’ committed by Miami’s Terrence Fede.
Needless to say, Dolphins special teams coach Darren Rizzi was livid on the sideline.
