Cam Newton Hot-Dogs It Into The End Zone, Gets Popped By Defender On His Blindside

If this play looks familiar, it’s because the same exact thing happened just one day ago in the Tennessee vs Georgia game. During Saturday’s game in Athens, a Volunteer WR jogged into the end zone and was blown up by CB Deion Jones who he of course didn’t see coming from his blindside, causing him to fumble.

Luckily for Cam Newton and the Panthers, the 6’5”, 245lb. QB was able to hang onto the football and stretch it across the plane.

Newton did have to leave the field for the locker room following the collision and was revealed postage that the QB did in fact suffer one on the play.
