Colin Kaepernick has been using his right as a United States citizen to sit/kneel during the National Anthem before his games this season. His decision not to exercise arguably the most quintessential one in the most important presidential election of our time, has some people scratching their heads. One of those, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.
The First Take host ripped the 49ers quarterback to shreds on Wednesday’s show, arguing that his protest is renders meaningless if he doesn’t feel the need to try to evoke change change in the most direct way possible, by voting.
