The saga just won’t go away. Days before the Seahawks are set to take not he awaiting Falcons, one Atlanta fan is petitioning to have Future sing the National Anthem.
Why is this relevant? Future, an Atlanta native, was once engaged to Wilson’s current wife, Ciara, and has a child with her. The two fueled over social media which even spread to each others fans attacking each other. Even NFL teams got in on the action playing the rap star’s music pregame while Wilson warmed up.
The Falcons have said they will not play Future during warmups and though the petition has over 1,000 supporters, they likely won’t be on board with this idea either.
“We will absolutely not go down that road,” Dan Quinn told @Bighugh53 about requesting Future songs to annoy Russell Wilson.
