Watch Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey Struggle To Do 10 Bench Press Reps At NFL Combine

Stanford Cardinal running back Christian McCaffrey skipped out on his team’s bowl game this season to avoid injury as well as get an early jump on preparation for the NFL combine. It seems as if he may have skipped out on a few strength workouts too.

McCaffrey hit the bench press along with the rest of the running backs during the strength and conditioning portion of the NFL combine Thursday, and only completed a mere 10 reps on the bench press.

For comparison, Oklahoma RB Samaje Perine tripled McCaffrey’s number, hitting 30 reps while FSU’s Dalvin Cook was able to do 22 in the same exercise.
