Oakland Raiders Now The Only Team In The NFL To Go 3 Years Without A Single Arrest

Somehow, someway, the Oakland Raiders are suddenly the NFL’s most well-behaved team, the only team in the NFL to have no players arrested in the past three years.

As it seems as if a NFL players gets arrested every other day, you’d have to look all the back back to March of 2014 for the Raiders’ last arrest, where running back Kory Sheets was arrested for marijuana possession. The charges were later dropped and Sheets got injured in camp and never played a down for the Raiders.

The discipline could be attributed to the leadership of head coach Jack Del Rio who took over in 2015 or the overall turn around of the team from a perennial loser to a playoff contender.

Oakland’s neighbors, the San Francisco 49ers happen to lead to league with 15 arrests in the same time span.

Here’s how the league stacks up since 2012:

Surely these statistics will change when the teams moves to the city of sin in a few years time.
