Becca Longo already achieved what most men couldn’t, including becoming the first women to receive a NCAA football scholarship, and now she wants to become the first women to make it to the NFL.
Longo kicks for her high school team in Arizona, where she’s been so accurate, Division II Adams State offered her a scholarship on Wednesday to continue kicking, for them.
Though she’s not the first women’s college football player ever, she’s the first to be offered a scholarship, a fact which she didn’t know until she signed her letter of intent.
Longo went 35-38 on PATs during her high school career.
Becca Longo just became the first EVER woman to earn an NCAA football scholarship. https://t.co/2mklbsnQ1K pic.twitter.com/fT2mnXHiy0
