Blake Bortles threw five interceptions during practice Sunday, and one day later, his left tackle is calling it quits. Can you blame him? Who wants to spend their games chasing down defensive backs after interceptions.

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Monday that Brandon Albert told the team he was retiring. Albert never even played a snap for the team, having been traded from the Dolphins in March for a 2018 seventh-round pick.

The 32-year-old, 9-year veteran skipped the entirety of the Jaguars’ offseason conditioning program and organized team activities, holding out for a new contract. Team general manager David Caldwell said he was holding firm on Albert’s current deal.
