Mizzou Has TD Wiped Off The Board Because The Ball Carrier Leaped Into The End Zone

The NCAA instituted a rule in 2011 that states if a player commits an excessive celebration during a play, that play is blown dead and the ball is spotted at the point of the foul.

The Mizzou Tigers found that out the hard way Saturday, when RB Damarea Crockett ran into the end zone to cap off a 75-yard touchdown run, only to have the six points wiped off the board because he dove across the goal line.

The ball was moved back 15 yards from the spot where Crockett dived.
