Texans QB Tom Savage was benched Sunday during the team’s Week 1 game after just 31 plays and 13 pass attempts. One of those pass attempts in particular might be one of the reasons rookie QB DeShaun Watson will be under center tonight vs the Bengals.
Video of a play during the opening minute of the 2nd quarter caught Savage seemingly too lazy to properly drop back, simply walking backward away from the center to deliver a throw.
