This will be music to Packers fans ears.
Doctors have reportedly informed the Green Bay Packers that quarterback Aaron Rodgers may be able to throw in six weeks, according to ESPN’s Adam Scheffer:

That would give Rodgers a return date sometime in December.
Rodgers had surgery to repair a broken right clavicle suffered in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings.
The Packers placed Rodgers on Injured Reserve, meaning the earliest he can return is Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers on Dec. 17th.
Mike McCarthy told Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com:
“We’re actually discussing all the long-term options at this point, the focus has been on Aaron’s health, making sure everything went well with the surgery, and those discussions will continue.”
One has to imagine that if Rodgers does indeed return this season, it will be likely be decided on whether or not the Packers are in playoff contention. The Packers currently sit at 4-2 and second in the NFC North.
This isn’t the first time Rodgers broke his collarbone. Back in 2013, Rodgers suffered a similar injury but wasn’t on his throwing shoulder. Rodgers missed seven weeks.
Brett Hundley is set to start for Rodgers.
