On a day where Houstonians are filled with joy celebrating their first World Series, their emotions are being taken for a roller coaster ride.
The Houston Texans fear that star rookie QB DeShaun Watson has tore his ACL during practice Thursday.
Watson suffered the injury on a non-contact play.
Deshaun Watson did tear his ACL, per source. Tests on-site revealed tear. @rapsheet first mentioned this possibility.

The Clemson alum is off to one of the most prolific starts to a career at quarterback in NFL history, leading the league’s highest scoring offense. The injury even comes on the day Watson was named AFC player of the month coming off a 400+, 4TD passing performance against one of the best defenses in the NFL. He is tied for the league lead in touchdown passes.
Week 1 starter Tom Savage will take back over quarterback duties for Sunday’s game against the Colts.
Watson will undergo surgery and miss the remainder of the season.
