Adrian Peterson’s 2017 season is over and his career could very well be over as well.
On Thursday night, the Arizona Cardinals announced that they were placing the future Hall of Fame running back on injured reserve with an apparent neck injury:

Peterson started the season with the New Orleans Saints but after the emergence of Alvin Kamara, they really didn’t need him. He was then traded to the Cardinals and took off in his first game.
Unfortunately, an apparent neck injury put the 32 year old on the shelf.
