One-Handed UCF LB Shaquem Griffin Invited To 2018 NFL Scouting Combine

University of Central Florida linebacker Shaquem Griffin is looking to become the first player in history with one hand to be drafted into the NFL and his journey just took one step forward.

The UCF LB is heading to the NFL scouting combine:

Griffin’s left hand was amputated when he was four years old because of a congenital condition called amniotic band syndrome.

Despite that, he became a two-year starter at UCF and a first-team All American Athletic Conference selection both seasons.

He was also the AAC’s defensive player of hte year in 2016 and was named the defensive MVP of the 2018 Peach Bowl.

Griffin played in the 2018 Senior Bowl and recorded four tackles.
