Eagles Got Away With Blatant Pass Interference Penalty On Final Play Of The Game

Of course Patriots fans complaining about any officiating will be taken with a grain of salt, but the Eagles inarguably had questionable calls go their favor in Super Bowl LII, whether it was a two catch reviews for touchdowns, or a no call on the final play of the game.

As Tom Brady dropped back for a last-ditch hail mary, NE WR Chris Hogan was leveled by an Eagles defender in what should have been a clear illegal contact downfield call, leaving only TE Rob Gronkowski as the only primary receiver left to catch the pass.

You could also argue Gronkowski was interfered with as well while going up to catch Brady’s throw.
