Japan was eliminated from the World Cup Monday in heartbreaking fashion, blowing a two-goal lead in the final seconds to lose to Belgium 3-2.

The presumptive gut-wrenching emotions didn’t stop both the Japanese players and fans from showing their respect towards the host country, leaving both the locker room and stadium spotless after the match.

And while the team cleaned the locker room and left a thank you note, their fans scoured the seats for any trash.
