Vikings O-Line Coach, Former Dolphins Head Coach Tony Sparano Dead At 56

Current Minnesota Vikings offensive line coach and formr Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano has passed away at the age of 56.

The team announced the news along with an official statement Sunday.

Sparano began his coaching career in 1999, with stops in Cleveland, Jacksonville, Dallas, Washington, San Francisco, Miami and Oakland before taking the job in Minnesota in 2016.

Sparano’s finest coaching season came after taking the head coaching position of the Dolphins, using his wildcat offense to lead his team to an 11-5 record and a playoff berth just one year after the ‘Phins posted a one-win season.
