Chiefs Defender Lets Tom Brady Go To Avoid Roughing The Passer Penalty, Gives Up Touchdown

Officials have been whistle happy when calling roughing the passer penalties this season, especially with the installment of the new rules. The fear of receiving one may now be costing teams games.

With minutes to go and the Chiefs needing a red zone stand, Breeland Speaks had Brady in his grasp for what appeared to be a sack, only to seemingly let Brady go in order to not draw a roughing flag for tackling the quarterback low.

Just last week, Eagles DE Michael Bennet was flagged for the same tackle Speaks would have used to take Brady down the way he had him wrapped up Sunday night.
