Cowboys Coach Caught Using Cellphone On Saints Sideline During Thursday Night’s Game

If you’ve ever wondered why you see athletes and coaches using phones from the 1990s to call up to the booth in sports like football and baseball, it’s to easily regulate any funny business of sorts going on that using cellphones would introduce.

Until only recently, NFL players and coaches being payed millions and generating billions were forced to use black & white print outs to review plays and formations on the bench.

Though the use of 13 tablets are now allowed by an NFL’s sideline during games, players and coaches are not allowed to use cell phones, which is awkward considering one Dallas coach was caught using a cell phone during the team’s 13-10 win over the Saints on Thursday night. Even more interestingly, the coach was using the phone while located on the Saints’ sideline.
