I really think everyone is rooting for Jason Witten to succeed as an analyst in the Monday Night Football booth but the former Cowboys tight end has made it a routine to constantly screw up.
During Week 15’s MNF game between the Saints and Panthers, Witten actually stated that Cam Newton was good at running after the catch:

The mistake was so bad that Witten actually apologized for it later on air:

ESPN has already announced that the trio of Booger McFarland, Jason Witten and Joe Tessitore will be back in 2019.
Lets just hope they improve.
