Johnny Manziel’s Wife Accused Of Cheating In Charity Marathon After Running At World-Record Pace

If Bre Tiesi is not lying, she may be the best athlete in her family.

The 27-year-old Instagram model and wife of former Heisman-winner and NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel has been accused of cheating during a half marathon charity race after her time appeared to show she ran a world record pace.

Tiesi ran the Divas half-marathon in Temecula, California earlier this month in support of breast cancer awareness but upon reviewing her timing sheet (posted online by LetsRun.com), it appears as if she cut out portions of the race on her way to the finish line.

The statistics show her running the final 6.7 miles of the race in a blazing 26 minutes and 54 seconds.

In case you’re wondering, no human in history has ever done that.

The time sets her pace at 4:00.7 per mile, interesting considering the women’s world-record for 6.21 miles is 4:42.6 per mile. In fact her pace is faster than the fastest mile ever run by a woman in the history of mankind (4:12.56), set by Svetlana Masterkova in 1996.

The timing sheet posted online shows she would have broke that record for six consecutive miles – and after running 14 minute miles the first half of the race.

Bre has since come out and denied any acts of cheating, saying the accusations are a ‘joke’, calling her doubters “sad and pathetic.”

She even took to Instagram to post “proof” of her time, including a photo of the 11-mile marker showing she ran past it.

Tiesi celebrated her record run with a glass of rosé at the finish line.
