The deal is for a whopping $84 million for the next six years.
The 25-year old three-time Pro Bowler was originally selected by New York in the 2nd round of the 2015 NFL draft.
Collins became a free-agent recently after the Giants opted not the extend the safety despite him being one of the few bright spots on the team’s defense.
It’s likely Eli Manning’s cap hit led to the Giants not having enough money to spend on resigning Collins.
