On Tuesday night, chaos ensued when the New Orleans Pelicans, a team who finished with the fifth worst record in the NBA, won the 2019 NBA Draft lottery.
The Pelicans had a 6% chance of winning the lottery and they came out victorious and now are in prime position to select Duke sensation Zion Williamson.
For fans of the New York Knicks, they left wondering what could’ve been as they came out of the lottery with the No. 3 pick in the Draft despite finishing with the worst record in the NBA and seemingly tanking all season.
The official Twitter account of the NFL Draft decided to take to social media and throw out the idea of the NFL give fans a draft lottery system similar to the NBA.
