Tom Brady’s Pair Of Shoulder Pads Is Older Than Five Of His Current Patriots Teammates

If you think Tom Brady is old, try his shoulder pads.

Brady appeared on the “Quick Slants” podcast on NBC Sports Boston, and dropped a stunning revelation that he’s been wearing the exact same pair of shoulder pads his entire career, both in college and the NFL.

The Patriots quarterback was issued a standard set of Douglas 25Ls shoulder pads during his freshman year at Michigan in 1995, and has never put on another pair since.

“I’ve worn them for 25 years,” he said.

Somewhere out there, old-helmet loving Antonio Brown is jealous right now.
