BREAKING: Jared Goff & Lions Agree To Massive 4-Year Contract Extension Worth $212M

Jared Goff was two quarters from bringing the Detroit Lions to their first Super Bowl berth in franchise history, and he’ll be rewarded handsomely for it.

The 29-year-old QB agreed to a 4-year, $212M contract extension, $170M of which is guaranteed.

Goff threw for 4,575 yards with 30 TDs and 12 INTs with a completion percentage of 67.3 last season en route to an NFC Championship appearance versus the 49ers.

The deal makes Goff the second highest paid QB in the league behind only Joe Burrow.
