If Tom Brady is residing in your city, there’s a good chance one or more of your cities major sports teams are extremely successful.
A recent study highlighted that from 1979 to present day, whichever city Tom Brady resided in had one or more of the city’s sports team either in or win the respective championship in their sport.
From 1979 to 1994, Tom Brady resided in San Francisco/Bay Area where the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Athletics would end up winning multiple Super Bowls and a World Series.
From 1995 to 1999, Brady was attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor/Detroit area, where the Wolverines would win a National Title and the Detroit Red Wings would win three Stanley Cups.
From 2001 to 2018, Brady, was of course, quarterbacking the New England Patriots to six Super Bowls, while the Boston Red Sox broke the curse of the Bambino and winning multiple World Series titles. The Celtics and Bruins also won an NBA Championship and Stanley Cup, respectively.
That brings us to 2020, where the Tampa Bay Lighting have won the Stanley Cup, the Rays are in the World Series for the first time since 2008 and the Brady’s Bucs are currently in first place in the NFC South.
