Dolphins Reportedly Considering Making Team’s Throwbacks Their Permanent Uniforms

The Miami Dolphins and their fans have been trying to channel the franchise’s glory days since Dan Marino retired, and they may try to catalyze that process with the uniforms.

The ‘Pins have some of the best look throwbacks in the league, and according to ProFootballTalk, there’s been chatter within the organization about possibly bringing them back permanently.

According to PFT, “A lot of people” within the organization want the throwbacks to become the team’s permanent uniforms, according to Armando Salguero the Miami Herald. Head coach Brian Flores even gave his stamp of approval for a uniform switch.

“If you want me to vote, I’ll vote for the old uniforms, if you want me to be casting votes,” Flores said, via Salguero. “If I had to choose the old or the new, I’d probably go with the old.

“I like the old uniforms.”

Miami will wear their beloved throwbacks Sunday against the Chargers, and through nothing has been official has been said just yet, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross likely won’t speak or make a decision on the matter until the offseason.
