Buffalo Bills Fans Start Petition To Ban NY Governor Andrew Cuomo From Playoff Game

New York governor Andrew Cuomo bent his own rules to allow the Bills to have fans in the stands when Buffalo hosts their first playoff game in some time, but that’s apparently not enough to sway New Yorkers in their view of him.

Cuomo announced he would be among the near 7,000 fans in attendance when the Bills kickoff against the Colts on Saturday, but it seems like most of them won’t want him there.

A change.org petition has sprung up on the internet aimed at banning Cuomo from the game.

The petition currently has 30,000 signatures and counting.

Created by Jeffrey Dorenzo, the petition’s description reads, “So Cuomo is going to attend our playoff game after telling us that we can only attend at less than 10% capacity? If he thinks he has more right to a seat in that stadium over people who have waited over 20 years for this opportunity, then people better be there to protest his entry. This is OUR team! This is OUR home. We don’t want you here.”
