Rob Gronkowski Sets World Record With 600-Foot Catch From Helicopter

Rob Gronkowski always does things bigger, better…and higher – and it’s no different when it comes to catching balls in the offseason.

The Buccaneers tight end visited his alma mater in the University of Arizona this weekend in attempt to break a world record for a football dropped from the highest distance.

Gronk suited up with pads and headed out the midfield, where a chopper climbed to 600 feet in the air, and dropped a pass which was of course hauled in by Gronk and his polar bear hands.

Even with accounting for wind resistance, the ball was traveling over 100 mph.
