Former Jets Coach Adam Gase Accepts Job As Offensive Coordinator Of Local High School Team

Adam Gase might have just completed the biggest demotion in the history of NFL coaching.

The former Jets head coach was fired after last season following a 1-15 record in his second year as the head coach in the big apple.

A few months later, and Gase is calling plays for another team, with players of equal skill level.

Lincoln High School in Ypsilanti, MI announced that they’ve hired Gase as their offensive coordinator. The high school is located in Gase’s hometown.

Gase’s coaching career in the NFL was kickstarted during his tenure with the Denver Broncos, being the quarterbacks coach for Peyton Manning. Gase was hired by the Miami Dolphins in 2016 and despite a rocky stint in Miami, was hired by the Jets, whom he did an even worse job for.
