EA Sports To “Explore The Possibility” Of Having Real College Athletes In Upcoming College Football Video Game

Effective July 1st, the NCAA began allowing college athletes to profit off their name, image and likeness. The decision has opened the door for EA Sports to bring back the NCAA college football game, a game which fans have been craving since the game was discontinued back in 2014.

With the new NIL policy going into effect, EA Sports released a statement saying they “plan to explore the possibility of including players in EA SPORTS College Football:

In previous NCAA College Football games, the video game featured real schools and uniforms but were forced to include fake players. With the new rule going into effect, you can expect to see the game be more authentic than it ever was.

EA Sports says it plans to release the college football game in 2023.
