The NFL is on Charmin level of soft.
Chase Young is a premier, face of the NFL-type player and the league is apparently punishing him for exactly his expertise.
Early in the 1st quarter of Thursday night’s Washington-New York game, Young beat two blocked and got to Daniel Jones as he was releasing the football. After apparently not twisting enough in order to not put his bodyweight on Jones during the tackle, Young was flagged for 15 yards via a ‘Roughing the Passer’ penalty.
Shame on Young for forgetting to lay down a pillow for Danny Jones. The Giants offensive line should have been flagged for allowing him to even get to him despite double coverage.
