Aaron Rodgers has been getting dragged all week following his wild interview with ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ where the Green Bay Packers quarterback explained why he decided to not getting vaccinated.
Among other things, Rodgers said the “woke mob” is targeting him following his positive test for the coronavirus after failing to get vaccinated.
“I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now, so before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I would like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies that are out there about myself.”
Just the very next day, Saturday Night Live wasted no time in making fun of Rodgers and what he said as comedian Pete Davidson dressed up just like him for their own version of his interview:
Rodgers said he underwent a medical treatment against the coronavirus over the summer, which he tried to get the NFL to accept as a vaccination — a request the league denied.
Rodgers claimed he is allergic to an ingredient in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and felt uncomfortable taking the Johnson & Johnson shot because of the side effects.
The current NFL MVP said he’s “not an anti-vax flat earther” but more of a “critical thinker” who’s become the victim of “a witch hunt.”
