Baker Mayfield Says Browns ‘Disrespected’ And Lied To Him By Signing Deshaun Watson

Baker Mayfield has broken his silence over what has been a wild offseason for the former No. 1 overall pick.

Appearing on ‘Ya Never Know’ podcast, Mayfield said he felt disrespected by the Browns because ‘they told me one thing and did something else.”

The Browns, who traded for Deshaun Watson this offseason all but ended their relationship with Mayfield.

Mayfield still has no idea where he will be playing next year but one thing is for sure, a return to the Browns is not happening.

There are reportedly a number of teams interested in Mayfield but not at the salary ($18 million).
