And there it is…
Two weeks ago, an independent judge ruled that Deshaun Watson would be suspended for a mere six games for the sexual misconduct allegations and suite filed by 24 women while the QB was on the Texans.
One caveat in the ruling was that the NFL has the opportunity to appeal the decision, to which the league did.
Now, the NFL and the NFL Players Association have agreed to terms on an 11 game suspension, including a $5 million fine that will go towards charity.
Watson avoids the rumored year-long suspension but will miss a large portion of his first year in Cleveland.
Ironically enough, Deshaun Watson’s first game back will be against the Texans in Week 13.
