NFL Players Association Fires Independent Doctor Who Cleared Tua Tagovailoa During Bills Game

Well, safe to say we all say this coming.

In effort to look to limit concussions and the ramifications of such an injury, the NFL and NFLPA have worked together to introduce safety protocols, advances in equipment and other things such as having an independent neurologist clear players who suffered apparent head trauma before returning to games.

After Tua Tagovailoa was cleared by a doctor after clearly suffering a concussion last Sunday vs the Bills, the NFLAP has terminated that doctor amid the fallout of the Dolphins QB suffering another concussion four days later, resulting in him having to be rushed to the hospital.

During an investigation into the incident, it was found he made “several mistakes” in his evaluation, according to ESPN and multiple reports.
