Micah Parsons Calls Out The Biden Administration For Leaving A Marine In Russia While Freeing Brittney Griner

Brittney Griner is thankful coming home after she was detained in Russia and jailed for bringing in vape cartridges containing oils derived from cannabis through a Moscow Airport as she was returning to the country to play for a basketball league in the country.

Griner was jailed for nearly a jail after she was sentenced to nine years in a Russian prison.

Griner was freed from a Russian prison on Thursday in a prisoner exchange for convicted Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout. Bout is known as the “Merchant of Death” and the possible swap for him was discussed as early as last May. He was in the middle of a 25-year sentence in federal prison after he was convicted of conspiracy to kill Americans relating to the support of a Colombian terrorist organization.

But Griner isn’t the only American prisoned in Russia, marine Paul Whelan is also prisoned in a Russian jail and many are wondering why he wasn’t apart of the prisoner swap.

Dallas Cowboys star defensive player Micah Parsons was one of those people who called it out on Twitter, but made it clear he wasn’t take a swipe at Griner:

Paul Whelan has been jailed on espionage charges that his family and the U.S. government have said are baseless.

We can only hope the same can be done for him as soon as possible.
