Tua Tagovailoa suffered two concussions earlier this season which left him in concussion protocol for 3 weeks, and it appears as if he may have suffered another during the loss to the Packers on Christmas day.
Tagovailoa has perhaps the biggest disparity in performance between two halves this season of any QB, tearing up the Packers defense with precise throws and deep balls galore, only to seemingly not be able to throw a pass within five yards of a receiver in the second half, especially the 4th quarter.
One fan tweeted out that he hypothesized that Tagovailoa may have suffered a concussion on a tackle during a play late in the 2nd quarter, and by the looks of it, his helmet collided with the turf at a velocity that could cement those claims.
Somehow, the independent NFL spotter in charge of identifying plays just like this one missed it, and allowed the Dolphins QB to play on.
Just over 24 hours later, and Tagovailoa has entered concussion protocol for the third time this season.
