Eagles Chant Breaks Out At Madison Square Garden During Sixers-Knicks Game

Philadelphia continues to own New York.

After the Eagles won the NFC Championship Game two weeks, one of New York’s most historic buildings — the Empire State Building — lit up in green to honor the Eagles advancing to Super Bowl LVII.

That was bad. But what happened at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night might be worse.

During the Sixers-Knicks game, a loud ‘E-A-G-L-E-S’ chant broke out while the Knicks were shooting free throws:

Now, the Knicks went on to win the game and the majority of Knicks fans in attendance eventually broke out their own ‘Eagles Suck’ chant but still, New York.. how can you let this happen?

The Eagles will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. and we can assume the state of New York (or at least majority of it) will be rooting for the Chiefs.. right?
