The San Francisco 49ers still haven’t gotten over what happened in the NFC Championship Game two weeks ago and they are not done talking about it.
Appearing on the I Am Athlete Podcast, Deebo Samuel was asked about whether or not the Eagles are overrated. Samuel echoed what his teammate Brandon Aiyuk said, saying the Eagles defensive line makes the secondary looks better.
And, while Samuel admitted plenty of respect for Eagles cornerback Darius Slay, the All-Pro viewed fellow corner James Bradberry as “trash” when prompted for an opinion.
The San Francisco 49ers might never stop talking about the NFC Championship Game. They truly believe they would’ve won that game had they not run out of quarterbacks. Both Brock Purdy and backup Josh Johnson were injured during the game.
The Eagles went on to win the game 31-7 and are playing the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.
